Lenten Pause

Refreshment Sunday has passed, we are now two-thirds of the way through Lent. It is time to take stock of our experiences so far. How did it pass?

In our Liberal Catholic tradition there is not much emphasis on fasting from food. Rather it is the spiritual fasting that we treasure. No nasty words, no back biting, no cussing, no condemning . These are probably better fast than abstaining from food.
